Born in Athens in 1963, Schoinas studied at the University of Urbino in Italy before starting his career in journalism in 1987 as a contributor to the sports newspaper ‘Athletiki Echo.’ He went on to work for various publications such as ‘Eleutheros,’ ‘Ora gia Sport,’ and ‘Adefteuotos Tipos,’ covering sports reporting and the General Sports Directorate. Additionally, he served as a senior news editor at ERT. Schoinas was known for his commitment to journalistic ethics and professionalism. His legacy leaves an irreplaceable void in the field.
