Renowned Greek Music Producer Achilles Theofilou Passes Away

The distinguished music producer Achilles Theofilou has passed away. Known for his marriage to renowned singer Haris Alexiou, with whom he had a child, Theofilou was one of the most significant figures in Greek music production. Despite their separation, they maintained excellent relations. He collaborated with some of Greece’s greatest artists, including Kazantzidis, Dionysiou, Dalaras, Papakonstantinou, Marinella, Sakellariou, Theodorakis, Hadjidakis, Tsitsanis, Kaldaras, and others. In the 1970s, he worked closely with George Dalaras on many albums and later with Yannis Parios and Antonis Vardis. Haris Alexiou played a major role in his life, maintaining great relations even after their split. She recently shared a photo on Instagram featuring both Theofilou and her daughter Maria, captioning it: ‘Achilles and his Maraki (little Maria).
