Renowned Actress Kaiti Konstantinou, Beloved ‘Soso’ from ‘Crimes’, Passes Away

Renowned Greek actress Kaiti Konstantinou, widely recognized for her role as ‘Soso’ in the popular TV series ‘Crimes’, has passed away at the age of 62 after battling cancer. According to initial reports, she was receiving treatment at a private clinic since Sunday evening (09/03/2025), but unfortunately, the beloved actress succumbed to her illness. Born on December 18, 1963, in Rododafni, Achaia, Konstantinou graduated from both the Philosophy and Dramatic School of Art Theatre in 1986, alongside her friends Maria Kavogianni and Yro Mané. Her acting career began with the theatrical play ‘Inner Voices’ at Art Theatre. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Soso Papadima in ‘Crimes’. Throughout her career, she participated in numerous theatrical performances and television series such as ‘Mom’s Cake’, ‘Safe Sex’, ‘Seven Deadly Mothers’, ‘Deliyiannio Parthenagogio’, ‘Somewhere I Know You’, ‘Red Room’, ‘Dolce Vita’, and more. Her final television appearance was in the ALPHA series ‘The Curse of Jella Delafranga’, where she parodied Sasmos with Chrysa Ropa. The character ‘Soso’ in ‘Crimes’ left an indelible mark on Greek television history due to her sharp wit and humor.
