Once again, sirens echoed through Tel Aviv as attacks between Israel and Iran continue despite the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding a ceasefire. Just hours after Trump’s declaration, which was seemingly accepted by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, a new Iranian missile attack managed to penetrate Israel’s Iron Dome defense system, resulting in at least 8 casualties. The Israeli military announced early Tuesday morning, after initially downplaying the previous escalation, that it was declaring a new alert level due to missiles fired from Iran against Israeli territory. Reuters journalists reported hearing a powerful explosion in Tel Aviv’s skies and distant explosions in Jerusalem. According to ERT, at least 8 people were killed in the new missile attacks that occurred Tuesday morning in the city of Beersheba.
