Three defendants involved in the murder case of a 41-year-old man in a vineyard in Rafina have been granted until next Tuesday (May 27, 2025) to prepare their pleas. The three suspects were arrested based on arrest warrants related to the killing. The alleged 46-year-old perpetrator is charged with premeditated murder and illegal possession and use of a firearm, while the other two individuals are accused of complicity in the murder. The 46-year-old was apprehended on Friday morning and is believed to be the person who killed the 41-year-old in the vineyard. He was hiding in a short-term rental property in Glyka Nera. When the owner visited the apartment and knocked on the door, there was no response. It’s reported that shortly before he died, the victim called his wife on Tuesday evening saying, “Run, I’m dying,” and allegedly told her, “K… shot me in the head.” His body was eventually found Thursday afternoon in an isolated vineyard near the intersection of Arionos and Panagia Gorgoepikou streets in Rafina. Initially, the police mentioned possible financial disputes as a motive.
