The green light in its acquisition (new) Benroubi from the Participations of Theodore Fessa, lit the , as reportedly no issue of concentration arose. Specifically as stated in the Communication from the Competition Committee: On 8 January, at its meeting in a Chamber, the Competition Committee received No. 871/2054 Decision approving unanimously, pursuant to Article 8(3) of Law 3959/2011, the concentration relating to the acquisition of sole control by the company ‘QUEST INTERESTS SA’, a company of the Fessa Group, on the company ‘(NEA) BENROUBI SA’, within the meaning of Article 5(2) (b) of Law 3959/2011. CORVERSE QUEST PARTICIPATION is a company listed on the Athens Stock Exchange and is a parent company active in various branches of the Greek economy, mainly in the fields of trade in electrical and electronic products, IT services and RES. The target company is mainly active in the import, wholesale and retail sale of household appliances and appliances. The Commission considered that there were no markets affected by the concentration, and therefore no anti-competitive horizontal, vertical or retractive effects resulting from its implementation. Therefore, although it falls within the scope of paragraph 1 of Article 6 of Law 3959/2011, the present concentration does not raise serious doubts as to its compatibility with the competition requirements in the relevant markets concerned.
