The missile attack launched late Monday afternoon (June 23, 2025) on the American base in Qatar understandably caused panic among the emirate’s residents. Videos circulating on social media show Qataris running frantically to find shelter. One video depicts citizens fleeing in a state of chaos inside a shopping center. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries from the missile attack, although according to an American official, none of the Iranian missiles hit the U.S. airbase at Al Udeid in Qatar. This initial assessment follows Iran’s attempt to attack with short- and medium-range missiles. Qatar has assured that the situation remains ‘stable.’
