Qatar: ‘National Sovereignty’ at Stake in Response to Iranian Attack on Al Udeid Base

Qatar’s response to the attack on the Al Udeid airbase is a matter of ‘national sovereignty,’ stated the country’s Foreign Ministry representative during a press conference held late Monday night (23.06.2025). ‘There are deep ties between the two countries (i.e., Iran and Qatar) and the two nations, but the attack undoubtedly requires an honest encounter and a clear stance,’ said Majed Al Ansari. According to Qatar, some debris fell in residential areas, though no injuries were reported by the Ministry of Interior.
