“Promotion of exports of food and beverage through the delicatessen”

Read the announcement: “Given the excellent and… competitive quality at global level, of the Greek food and beverages, and the ever-increasing demand for their imports from foreign countries, as well as in accordance with the programmatic statements of the Deputy Foreign minister (D.Μάρδα, posted on the website www.agora.mfa.gr the Ministry of Foreign affairs,

lists of shops (delicatessen) from a total of 70 countries.
The data were collected by the Greek authorities abroad (Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs, Embassies and Consulates). The aim of the project is the update of the Greek producers and exporters of food and beverage points of sale in foreign countries, in which they can propose their products.
The shops of fine food are emerging as ideal places of sale of products of high quality standards and, as such, are ranked high in the preferences of consumers, especially those of the higher income levels.
Our goal is for the Greek products of excellent quality, high taste and nutritional value, organic production, products, PDO & PGI, to promote in shops of fine food and to be widely known and accepted worldwide.
Similar initiatives will follow and other industries products.
The Ministry of Foreign affairs, with the extensive network of Authorities abroad, and especially with the Offices of Economic and Commercial Affairs will make every effort in order to increase worldwide in the number of quality Greek food products moving through the stores of fine food.”
