Prometheus Aleiferopoulos opened up about his journey through psychotherapy, revealing how it helped him uncover deep-rooted traumas from his childhood. Speaking candidly in an interview on the show “You Haven’t Seen Anything Yet” aired on Sunday (23.03.2025), Aleiferopoulos shared insights into the mistakes he made in his relationship with his child and how therapy aided in recognizing them. ‘When I became a parent, I realized I was repeating behaviors that had traumatized me. Early on, I noticed something was wrong from the lack of connection in my son’s gaze. That’s when I sought psychotherapy again. Therapy not only helped me discover more traumas I’ve carried but also emphasized the importance of my partner. It allowed me to quickly recognize and correct harmful behaviors,’ he explained. Regarding his career, Aleiferopoulos mentioned, ‘Rarely have I been given opportunities for comedic roles; they’ve cast me as a dramatic actor. I’ve said no to some roles, and for others, I’ve regretted my decision.’
