A significant response has been launched at Salamis Marina following the partial sinking of a private vessel. The incident occurred just before 11 a.m. on Tuesday, 30 June 2026, when the boat began listing in the water.
According to initial reports, the vessel was on a trial run when it started taking on water. Only the captain was on board at the time.
The Hellenic Coast Guard has rushed to the scene and is currently carrying out an operation to assist and assess the situation.
