A major stir has erupted in the United States following the U.S. Department of Justice’s release of over 3 million documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s activities. Alongside Prince Andrew, Bill Gates, and Elon Musk, Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit appears at least 1,000 times in the newly unsealed files, according to Norwegian newspaper VG. Emails between her and Epstein span from 2011 to 2014. Media attention focused on intimate exchanges, including one where she wrote, ‘You tickle my brain,’ and called him ‘charming.’ In 2012, she described him as ‘very charming’ and jokingly asked if it was inappropriate for a mother to suggest two nude women hold a surfboard for her 15-year-old son’s wallpaper. Earlier, she mentioned being on a ‘husband hunt’ in Paris; Epstein replied that the French capital was ‘good for adultery’ and added, ‘Scandinavians make better wives.’ She also thanked him for flowers sent while she was unwell, signing off, ‘With love, Lady.’ Records show she stayed four days at his Palm Beach home in 2013—while he was absent.
