He promotes the work of his late mother, and gave the “present” to a charity hosting homeless, as part of an event. Today Tuesday (21.01.2025), the Prince of Wales, began his week with a visit to the Centrepoint Ealing Foundation in London to meet young people receiving help from the charity. Centrepoint is a UK charity working to support homeless young people, which Princess Diana not only supported the organization as her “protector”, but took with her the sons of Prince William and Prince Harry on visits to initiate them at the events. CORVERSE The Prince of Wales went out to see Centrepoint service in Ealing, which features 17 beds for young people aged between 16 and 25 who experience a homelessness. The center acts as a shelter for youth and offers a number of services, from employment and education opportunities to advice on building a bright future. He spent the visit meeting young people who received help from Centrepoint and heard about how their charity supports them in rebuilding their lives. The Prince of Wales also participated in some of the sports activities the center has, such as boxing and football – which is not a surprise given his sports trends! William’s visit to Centrepoint highlights his long-term relationship with the charity and this year will be the organization’s 20th support as a patron. The close bond led to Centrepoint becoming Homewards’ main partner, the targeted initiative launched in June 2023 through The Royal Foundation with the aim of finally ending the housing shortage throughout the United Kingdom. CORVERSE Centrepoint helped provide advice to the Royal Foundation (which William and Kate use as a vehicle for their charity work) on the Homewards project and provides continuous guidance as the project progresses. Kensington Palace had previously stated Homewards tries “to change narrative and challenge negative perceptions and stereotypes about homelessness” through a five-year plan with many locations across the UK. Prince William’s last appearance came a week after his wife, Princess Kate visited the London hospital, where he had previously received treatment for cancer, and announced on the same day that he was in remission. The princess of Wales had announced in March 2024 that she was undergoing treatment for cancer and said in September that she completed chemotherapy.
