Prime Minister Mitsotakis and President Tasoulas Attend Official Doxology at Athens Metropolitan Church

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, President of the Republic Konstantinos Tasoulas, and numerous political leaders attended the official doxology on Tuesday morning (25.3.2025) at the Metropolitan Church of Athens to celebrate Greece’s National Anniversary on March 25th. The ceremony was presided over by His Eminence Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Ieronymos. In addition to Mitsotakis and Tasoulas, other notable attendees included Athens Mayor Haris Doukas, Regional Governor of Attica Nikos Hardalias, Speaker of Parliament Nikitas Kaklamanis, and PASOK president Nikos Androulakis. Following the service, they proceeded to Syntagma Square and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the viewing stand of the grand military parade. Also present were representatives from various religious denominations and churches, including the Metropolitan of Laodicea Theodoretus and the Archbishop of Guinea George. The doxology concluded shortly after 10 a.m., led by the Proto-Sygkelos of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, Archimandrite Barnabas Theoharis.
