PPC Settings debt: an Extension and supporting documentation – What you need to know

The PPC, by 1 April 2016 applies a very favorable Program adjustment of arrears in 36 monthly installments. This program was initially 4 month duration, but after the great response of customers, households, companies and professionals, has been extended two times.
Based on the recent decision of the Board of directors, settled a number of specific themes of this Programme and today it was re-extended until the end of the year. Customers who wish to carry out the restructuring of their debts may be served by the local Shops, and the Department of Telephone Customer Service, 11770 (Monday to Friday hours:08: 00 – 16:00).
In accordance with the Program:
All customers can settle their debts in 36 monthly installments, no down payment
The payment of the 1 instalment shall be made with the approval of the settlement

Customers who come for restructuring of their debts after discontinuation of ηλεκτροδότησής: (a) have the potential to join the above programme of 36 doses, if they have not violated the meter and b) have to pay directly for 15% of the debt and the balance will be paid in 12 monthly instalments, if they have violated the meter.

General Clarifications:
For customers who are thrust into the Register of Vulnerable customers shall follow the provisions of the Code of Procurement. In particular, for Vulnerable clients each dose does not exceed 25% of the total, a bi-monthly account. So for example, a vulnerable client with a total debt of €2,000 and an average bi-monthly bill of €200 will be able to repay the debt in 40 monthly installments of €50. With the exception of Vulnerable customers with ρευματοκλοπή.
In addition, Vulnerable Customers are provided with special protection measures, including the non-issuance of command to turn off meter (power outage) due to arrears throughout the duration of the year (excluding cases of criminal behaviors, such as ρευματοκλοπές)
The instalments are interest-bearing and interest charged in the current accounts issued after the conclusion of the arrangement. Exempted are a) customers who are included in the Register of Vulnerable Customers, and (b) cases arrangements for which there are special reasons against the conclusion of the settlement.
It is necessary, together with the instalments, to be paid, and the current accounts will be issued after the date of conclusion of the settlement within the time limit.
In the case of non-compliance with a settlement, if in other words, during a calendar year is not paid in one (1) dose the settlement continues normally from the next month. In the event of non-payment of more than one dose within a calendar year, the settlement is still valid provided that payment of all but one of the due instalments.
