At the Gemelli University Hospital in Rome, Pope Francis continues to receive treatment for respiratory infection. On Sunday, February 16, 2025, he addressed the faithful through a written message. “I would like to be with you, but as you know, I am at the Gemelli Hospital because I still need a few treatments for my bronchitis,” Pope Francis stated in his message. The pontiff called on the faithful to continue praying for peace in Palestine, Israel, and throughout the Middle East, as well as in Myanmar, the Kiev region, and Sudan. Finally, he thanked the faithful “for their closeness and prayers that accompany him during these days,” as well as the doctors and entire medical staff at Gemelli Hospital for their genuine concern.
