Poll Analysis: Mega Maxwell’s X-ray and the Battle Between Konstantopoulou and Andrulakis for Second Place

in

A new political landscape is emerging from recent polls, impacting both the government and opposition parties. The Tempi scandal continues to be a catalyst for party realignments, notably strengthening the party of Zoi Konstantopoulou, Liberty Cruise. In the current political scene, as highlighted by polls, New Democracy remains steadily in first place but with declining support, while the opposition struggles to formulate an alternative power proposal. Two recent polls, one by Metron Analysis for MEGA and another by Pulse for SKAI, show New Democracy maintaining a stable lead over the second party, which isn’t necessarily PASOK anymore. According to Metron Analysis, New Democracy leads with 26.4%, showing a 2.4% drop since February. Liberty Cruise has surged to second place with 14.6%, followed closely by NIKOS with 13.3%. Greek Solution holds fourth place with 9.9%. Meanwhile, the Pulse poll places Liberty Cruise and PASOK tied at 14%. New Democracy leads with 27.5%, and Greek Solution follows in fourth with 9.5%. SYRIZA and KKE are neck-and-neck for fifth place with 8%. Notably, Zoi Konstantopoulou ranks highly in leadership popularity, receiving 50% approval in the Metron Analysis poll. Government officials label Liberty Cruise as the ‘Tempi Party’ and accuse Konstantopoulou of exploiting national tragedy for maximum political gain. Despite this, some within the ruling party acknowledge her potential to enhance narratives about stability versus governance instability. Public opinion remains focused on accuracy, economy, and institutional crisis issues.
