Since early Thursday morning (03.07.2025), a major police operation has been underway by the organized crime unit targeting a house in the southern suburbs of Athens. The raid is part of an ongoing effort to dismantle a drug trafficking network involved in cocaine production. According to available information, the house had been converted into a makeshift laboratory where cocaine was extracted from leather materials impregnated with the drug. These materials were reportedly imported from abroad in pallets. Members of the criminal network extracted the narcotics and then distributed them both domestically and internationally. So far, six suspects—Greeks and Albanians—have been arrested, while the operation continues.
