“Plafon” exists in the number of workers who can be employed 6 days. In particular, according to cycles of the Ministry of Labour, they cannot exceed 69,105 or 2.45% of all employees in the private sector. This provision is defined indirectly by means of the definition of (industrial) undertakings which, by law alone, can carry out six-day work. The same cycle shows that workers working in firms who have applied and who may be legally eligible for this measure total, by far, 69,104 and account for 2,45% of all private sector workers with a dependent employment relationship in the country (2,828,667 employees). Whether or not the emergency shift is being used by all or by some of them (i.e. a subset) does not occur for the time being from the system.
