A devastating car accident occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday (16.03.2025), resulting in the tragic death of a 24-year-old driver in Piraeus. According to ERT, the incident took place on Hatzikyriakou Avenue where the young driver lost control of his vehicle for reasons yet unknown. The vehicle veered off course and collided violently with a tree near Krevasa Street. Despite immediate emergency response efforts, the impact was fatal, leaving the driver with life-threatening injuries from which he could not recover.
