in

A giant wild boar weighing over 200 kilos and measuring 2.10 meters in length was killed by hunters in Phthiotis, in the area of Molos. As seen in photos from lamiareport.gr, the massive animal extends beyond the bed of the agricultural truck it was loaded onto. Hunting of wild boars is permitted every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday across Greece, with no limit on the number of kills per hunting group. In this case, the hunting party consisted of nine men, due to the significant increase in the animal population overwhelming rural areas.
