Starting Monday (23.06.2025), the issuance of Personal Numbers (P.A.) through Citizen Service Centers (KEP) and Consular Authorities will commence, as announced by the Ministry of Digital Governance. Citizens can now obtain their Personal Number through KEP and consular offices as an extension of the myInfo – Citizen Data Verification application, which launched on June 3 via the unified digital portal. Similar to myInfo, citizens can visit KEP employees or contracted consular authorities to verify and confirm their personal data as recorded in the public sector’s primary registries. This ensures accurate and consistent records while enabling the issuance of Personal Numbers. Notably, this service is provided exclusively by authorized personnel at each KEP or contracted consulate. On its first day of operation, the service assisted nearly 770 citizens. Citizens may approach KEP or contracted Consular Authorities in the following cases: when they lack a certified mobile phone in the National Communication Registry (NCR); when confirming data or issuing Personal Numbers for underage family members not belonging to the same or associated municipal district; when acting on behalf of persons under judicial guardianship; and when lacking authentication codes from GGPSSD. This initiative marks another step toward providing secure, accessible, and user-friendly services for all citizens. To date, over 420,500 citizens have obtained Personal Numbers, with the myInfo verification process identifying 128,900 discrepancies across at least two public registries, triggering an automated correction process. Additionally, 31,250 new IDs have been issued with Personal Numbers.
