Pencil turns into an elaborate tunnel train

Cindy Chinn, based in Nebraska USA, found the pencil… he wanted and started experimenting with various tools. She found, however, that many of them didn’t pan out the details wanted. So they ended up to use a blade, a needle and a magnifying glass. The train on the tracks above the bridge has a height of less than 2.5 cm and had approximately nine hours of work.

According to her, the most difficult of all was not so much the size of the train as the wood of the pencil. That’s because, as concluded later, the old pencils have harder wood, and therefore can more easily be engraved. The artist accompanies the small carved train and with a magnifying glass, so that the viewer not miss any of the incredible details.
