Peloponnese Wine Festival 2025: The event – station for the largest vineyard in Greece

The new wine year begins dynamically, as the Peloponnese Wine Festival 2025, the most important collective presentation of the wines of the Peloponnesian vineyard comes for the 17th year, in order to highlight the wines of Greece’s largest vineyard. On Monday, January 20th from 12:00 to 21:00, at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel the event will welcome 48 wineries in the Venus Hall, in an ultra-premium presentation of the best wines of the Peloponnese. CORVERSE Peloponnese Wine Festival aspires to highlight the virtues of Peloponnesian wine by emphasising the characteristics of the southernmost vineyard on the mainland, i.e. the abundance of cultivated varieties, the abundance of different styles, the uniqueness of the wine-growing zones and the range of quality producers. All of these compose a rich wine image, which is by definition a pole of attraction for each wine-lover. During the event the wineries will present new crops, full of freshness and energy, but also old years that until now have been kept in their cellar to develop depth and complexity. At the Peloponnese Wine Festival you will encounter experimental bottlings, innovative winemaking techniques, mild interventions and creations that reflect the imagination and passion of producers. Moreover, the Peloponnesian vineyard with the abundance of its wine-growing areas – from mountain landscapes to coastal vineyards – offers the ideal background for the promotion of the dynamics of Greek wine and the elements that make it unique worldwide. This year, the producers of the Peloponnese take a step further, inviting the public to discover everything that inspires them and concerns them about the future. In the Athenaeum Conference Hall, from 14:00 – 20:00 next to the main event, a tasting will take place (walk in tasting) entitled “Peloponnese 2040 – Testing tomorrow” , which points to the trends , changes and challenges that the producers face and those choices they follow and will bring to them in the next two decades . In the context of this parallel event, winemakers have chosen to present all these new ones that are happening and redefine the most diverse vineyard of Greece and a wine culture that is leading to the revolution of Greek wine, as well as wine that demonstrate the adaptability of the Peloponnesian vineyard to the challenges of climate change . 12€ by January 17th.
