Payments for the Save 2025 Program Reach €93 Million So Far

The number of participants in the Save 2025 program has exceeded 54,000, according to data provided by the Ministry of National Economy and Finance to the Parliament. This initiative focuses on energy renovation in the residential building sector, supporting energy-vulnerable and affected population groups. These programs are part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0.” It is worth noting that the deadline for submitting applications for Save 2025 closed on April 13, 2025. To date, payments from the Public Investment Program have reached €93 million, with a total budget of €434 million. One milestone of the initiative has been achieved, while the second will be included in the 9th and final payment request. The ministry also mentioned previous programs, including Save 2020, Save 2021-2022, Save 2023, and Save 2023 Second Cycle. Their budget totals €2.16 billion, with total payments from the Public Investment Program reaching €1.25 billion. Finally, it is emphasized that four out of seven milestones and goals of the aforementioned initiative have already been met. One goal remains for the 7th payment request, scheduled for the last quarter of 2025, along with two more goals to be included in the 9th and final payment request.
