Paul Polakis Insists: Stefanos Kassellakis is a Fraudster Who Concealed Companies in the Marshall Islands

In his continued assertions that Stefanos Kassellakis is a ‘fraudster’ and concealed companies from his wealth declaration related to the Marshall Islands, SYRIZA MP Paul Polakis stood firm during the Ethics Committee’s discussion on lifting his parliamentary immunity for an online defamation complaint filed against him. Speaking at the Ethics Committee meeting on Thursday (29.5.2025), Polakis reportedly stated that if it was known that Kassellakis had companies in the Marshall Islands, he would never have become president of SYRIZA. Kassellakis initially filed the complaint against Polakis on January 10, 2025, following posts made by the Chania SYRIZA MP and had announced intentions to pursue further legal action for damages. According to reports, SYRIZA, KKE, and Greek Solution opposed the motion to lift Polakis’s immunity, while other parties supported it. The final decision will be made by the Plenary.
