In a nervous crisis is Syriza, insisting on “hard rock”, challenging the leadership under him. As they all show, the meeting of the Central Committee of Syriza next September is expected particularly “hot”, with Paul Polakis announcing that he will submit a motion of censure against Stephen Kasselakis. By statements published in the “Documento” of Sunday, the MP of Chania answers the question, whether he intends to submit a motion of censure against the president of SYRIZA at the party’s C.E. meeting. “Necessities are inviolable for both Syriza and the people. And everything that needs to be done will be coordinated in the instruments,” he states. “I will clearly contribute to a political line that will lead to the fall of the system and the Mitsotakis regime…. And in order to do that, it takes a program like what I formulated. What needs to be done will be done,” Mr. Polakis also points out. In his statements, Paul Polakis also returns to his opposition to Athena Linou to repeat that the party’s leadership did not reflect on his complaints, while adding that if there is no disciplinary control over the MP, he will resort to Justice. He even adds that in any case, the evidence must go to the Court of Auditors and the Economic Prosecutor.
