Paul Marinakis Clarifies Elections in 2027, Final Four Predictions, and His Favorite App

In response to citizens’ questions about the ‘Final Four,’ elections, his favorite app, and social media usage, Deputy Minister Paul Marinakis addressed these topics during the second episode of his ‘For Citizens’ briefing. The government spokesperson confirmed that elections will take place in 2027: “We are being told here to hold elections in September. Elections will happen in 2027; nothing like that is up for discussion,” he stated during the briefing, uploaded on Saturday (17.05.2025) to social media platforms. When asked humorously about predictions for the Final Four, Marinakis replied, “It’s not allowed to answer this question. We don’t make predictions before the Final Four.” One of the questions posed by citizens was, “Which app consumes most of your time?” To which Marinakis answered, WhatsApp. Another query involved what he scrolls through on social media aside from politics, with his response being anything related to food, travel, and the Euroleague.
