His career began in the newspaper “Athletic Echo”, in 1971 as a reporter, and then worked in the newspapers “Thessaloniki”, “Free Press”, “Southern” and “Bala”. Experienced in many types of reporting, he dedicated his journalistic life to sports reporting by making great successes that established him to the public’s conscience. In 1983, she began presenting to ERT the show “Sports beats”. He was the head of the sports departments of the newspapers “Update”, “Free Opinion”, “First”, “Time for Sports”, “NEA TIME” and “ERT-2” while, during his long career, he covered all kinds of sports events globally. Man in charge, with ethos and social conscience, alongside his journalistic career, dealt with the public, as a Municipal Councillor of the Municipality of Korydallos where he grew up, and with journalistic unionism, as an elector to the bodies of the ESIEA and the WTO. He was a member of the Second Degree Council of the Union of Editors from 2011 until the end of his life, serving it from the position of President for two consecutive terms while being elected a member of the General Council of the WTOCY in 2014-2017. Honorary President and historical member of the Panhellenic Athletic Press Association (PSAT), he was elected repeatedly to the Association Board, fighting strongly for the rights of the industry.
