in

The case involving a principal from a Patras high school has sparked significant concern. According to complaints filed against her, she imposes disciplinary actions on students, forcing them to kneel and apologize. Her behavior is described as explosive and offensive by adults who attempted to discuss the issues occurring at the Patras school. As reported by pelop.gr, all these incidents have been documented by the relevant educational authorities, and a dossier has been sent to the Ministry of Education before the Easter holidays, with no response so far. Reports from school staff and the Parents’ Association indicate that despite efforts to correct her behavior, she continues with alleged pedagogical misconduct, arbitrary actions, and administrative irregularities. The principal of the Secondary Education Directorate of Achaia, Eugenia Pierri, stated that they have followed all necessary procedures, forwarding the collected material for further investigation to the Regional Education Directorate and the Ministry of Education. Complaints include daily psychological coercion against students, derogatory notes labeling them as ‘villagers,’ and inappropriate disciplinary measures such as writing demeaning sentences repeatedly. Additionally, teachers report confrontational responses from the principal when questioned about her methods.
