A fire alarm was triggered in Patras following reports of an explosion that occurred on Monday afternoon (09.03.2026) at a factory in the Perivola area.

According to the Patras Emergency Response Center, the blast took place at a facility specializing in the production of industrial and medical-grade oxygen.
Initial reports indicate no injuries have been reported.
