PASOK: Nikos Androulakis Makes Changes in His Office – George Papavasileiou Appointed New Director

PASOK-KINAL leader Nikos Androulakis has reshuffled his close advisory team, appointing George Papavasileiou as the new director of his office. Papavasileiou is a civil engineer with expertise in cartography, land registry, transportation studies, and GIS. He served 21 consecutive years on the Hellenic Technical Chamber’s board and was its vice president. He was unanimously elected president of the TSMEDE executive board for three terms and previously ran as a PASOK parliamentary candidate in Athens A (1990–1993). Elena Anastasiou, Androulakis’s long-time collaborator and former office director, has been appointed secretary of the Network for Children’s and Family Rights. A lawyer and graduate of the University of Athens Law School (NKUA), she holds postgraduate studies in European and Community Law from Robert Schuman III University. She served as elected president of the 1st Municipal Community and Historical Center of Athens (2014–2019) and held roles in PASOK’s Political Council, Human Rights Sector, CEC, and as director of the party president’s political office. Additionally, Androulakis has named veteran PASOK member Petros Lambrouras as head of the Ballot Committee. Lambrouras studied economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, was a member of the Revolutionary Organization of March 1965 (PAK), a founding PASOK member, and served on the party’s Central Committee (1974–2004) and Executive Office.
