PASOK Calls for Preliminary Investigation Committee Against Former Minister Kostas Karamanlis

Members of PASOK have initiated the review of the judicial documentation, aiming to move forward in the near future. If evidence emerges, they plan to submit their proposal for a preliminary investigation committee concerning former minister Kostas Karamanlis over alleged malpractices related to the Tempi tragedy. PASOK President Nikos Androulakis emphasized that if the information from the judicial report confirms malpractices involving existing actions of Karamanlis, a preliminary investigation committee should be established. He highlighted the need for transparency and adherence to legal processes. The party is determined to ensure that justice prevails through the constitutional process, emphasizing the importance of examining witnesses and gathering evidence properly. Additionally, PASOK strongly criticized the dismissal of labor union leader Kostas Genidounias from Hellenic Train, who was a key witness in the Tempi case, accusing the government of retaliatory actions against whistleblowers.
