The Directorate of Financial Police took part in a workshop with the theme “Good Practices in the countries of the European Union on the strategies and methods of the Labour Inspectorate to tackle undeclared work”.
The workshop was held on 26-27 May 2016 in Athens, greece and was organized by the International Labour Organisation, in cooperation with the department of Labour Inspection (P.SEQ.E.) the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Social Solidarity.
More specifically, in the thematic module “The role of other national institutions involved in the fight against undeclared work”, the Director of the Directorate of Financial Police, Major general Emmanuel Πλουμής participated as a speaker, together with the Commander of the I.K.A. Dionysius Hustle, the Special Secretary In.D.The.E. Constantinos Christou, Commander The.C.A. Athanasios ΜπακαλÎξη and the General Secretary of Public Revenue Nikolaos Lytras, under the coordination of the Lead In.SEQ.E. Central Macedonia Athena ΒαλαμβοÏ.
During his address, mr Πλουμής opinion of the actions of the Directorate of Economic Police in the field of combat uninsured and undeclared work, while presented and statistical data controls, infringements, etc., in this field for the last three years (following table). In the context of the placement, mr Πλουμής pointed out that it is a key priority for the department of Economic Police the elimination of the phenomenon of the uninsured and undeclared work
