Paralympic Games: Seventh Stelios Malakopoulos in his final length in T64 category

Stelios Malakopoulos tried for the best possible falsification in his final length in the T64 category and finally came seventh place in Paris. After fourth place at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, the seventh came to Paris for Stelios Malakopoulos. The 27-year-old jumper of the length made his biggest jump in the sixth and final attempt, in which he landed at 6.81m (+0.4), while the analytical series of his jumps was: 6.62m – 6.14m – 6.67m – 6.64m – 6.49m – 6.89m – 6.81m. The gold medal was won by Tokyo gold Paralympian, Marcus Rem (Germany) with 8.13m (+0.7), silver by Derek Lockindek (USA) with 7.79m (0.0) and bronze by Jared Wallace (USA) with 7.49m (+0.3). Rem was the only athlete to cross the eight-metre barrier and even succeeded three times.
