In anticipation of the second final of the FIBA Europe Cup (April 23, 2025, 8:15 PM), PAOK’s head coach Massimo Cancelleri spoke about the team’s determination to overturn the deficit and secure the European trophy. Cancelleri also highlighted the atmosphere expected at a sold-out ‘PAOK Sports Arena.’ PAOK needs a win by more than a seven-point margin after losing the first match in Spain 72-65. Cancelleri stated, “It’s an excellent sign that the weather is good outside. We don’t need to change anything from what we’ve been doing since the start of the year. There’s no need for fear; tomorrow, two great teams will compete for the trophy, especially us playing at home.” He emphasized that the effort belongs to the entire team and expressed pride in the support from fans. Regarding the game plan due to the seven-point difference, he said, “Our goal is to win the game and cover the gap. Offensively, we must score more baskets while maintaining our exceptional defense from the first match. The crowd’s energy will be crucial for us tomorrow.”
