The incident occurred after a foul by Devin Cannady on Nikola Milutinov. From the Panionios stands, derogatory chants were heard towards the first female referee of the match, prompting Tsaroucha to head to the office where she filed her fifth report. As a result, the game was suspended again, and the refereeing trio retreated to the locker rooms. The score stood at 85-89, with possession favoring Olympiacos. The match resumed after about 20 minutes following the evacuation of the stands. It’s worth noting that this match had already been paused at the 17th minute due to tension behind the Olympiacos bench, as one of their supporters allegedly spat at Sasha Vezenkov.
