Countdown is on for the announcement of results from this year’s Panhellenic Exams, taken by candidates from General Lyceums (GEL) and Vocational Lyceums (EPAL). According to Greece’s Ministry of Education, official scores will be released after 1 p.m. today.
Schools across the country — all GELs and EPALs — will display printed score lists containing only each candidate’s six-digit registration code and subject-specific grades. No personal names or identifying details will appear on these public notices.
Candidates can also check their individual results online at https://results.it.minedu.gov.gr. To access their scores, they must enter their six-digit code along with the first four characters — in uppercase Greek letters — of their surname, first name, father’s name, and mother’s name.
Those who submitted a prior request will also receive their results via SMS on their registered mobile phone.
Following the results announcement, the next step is the submission of the electronic preference form (mechanographic application), which opens shortly thereafter. Final admission results — including the cut-off scores for university departments and schools — are scheduled to be published by late July.
