Panhellenic 2025: From Friday students’ applications for participation in the exam

From 29 November to 20 December, persons will be able to apply for admission to higher education this year. As the Ministry of Education informed on Thursday (28.11.2024), the above deadline (p. 29.11.2024 – 20.12.2024) is exclusive to those students from General and Vocational Schools (GEL and EPAL), who wish to participate in the Panhellenic Examinations. Candidates (students or alumni) can obtain the application – a statement corresponding to their case, either from the internet or from their high school. They will then have to fill in the application – a declaration in accordance with the instructions on the form and come to his high school, for its final electronic submission. On the official website of the Ministry of Education www.minedu.gov.gr , the link “EXAMINATIONS”, the relevant templates of the application-declaration and the relevant circulars describing the process and detailed supporting documents for each category of candidate (GEL or EPAL, student or graduate) are posted. On the same deadline (from Friday 29-11-2024 to Friday 20-12-2024), candidates interested in the 5 Music Departments with the special admission process (i.e. the Departments of Music Studies of the University of Macedonia, the AUTH, the Ionian University, the University of Ioannina as well as the department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia), in addition to the application – a statement on the nationwide examinations, should also submit a relevant application-responsible statement for the 5 Music Departments. Additional information about Panhellenic 2025 The Ministry of Education, with an announcement, informed about the Panhellenic Examinations 2025 and the following: 1. Those candidates interested in Military Schools, Police Schools, Fire Academy Schools, Port Corps Schools and Commercial Navy Academy Schools must also apply directly to the military, police, fire department, port or merchant navy in a period of time to be defined in the notices issued by the competent ministries and to be judged capable of preliminary examinations, which are scheduled for the period March – April 2025. The above notices will be available from the recruitment offices, police departments, fire department and port respectively, at a time to be determined by the joint ministries. 2. Those candidates who are interested in TEFAs and will participate this year in the nationwide exams must declare their wish for TEFAs in order to participate in practical tests (health examination and events). 3. Candidates for 10% of posts (without a new examination) can only be those who have been examined nationwide in 2023 or 2024 (with the daily GELs or daily EPALs). Those who wish to be candidates for 10% of the seats will not now submit the application – a statement, but a direct computerised bulletin. If they wish to be admitted to an army, police, fire department, port, AEN, apply to the competent ministry and participate in the preliminary examinations (March – April 2025). Candidates for 10% with final examination in 2023 will claim their admission on the condition of the EBE, as it was formed in the 2023 national exams. Candidates for 10% with final examination in 2024 will claim their admission on the condition of the EBE, as it was formed in the 2024 national exams. 4. Candidates, suffering from serious diseases, do not wish to participate in the nationwide examinations, do not now submit the application – a statement. We recall that candidates of this special category (which have already been certified or certified by the special seven-members of hospitals), may submit a separate computerised bulletin directly for 5% of the entry posts on the basis of the degree of their diploma on dates to be announced later. However, if one of the candidates with serious diseases wants to participate in the national examinations, he must submit the application – a statement of the present so that he can participate properly in the Panhellenic Examinations.
