According to French publications, Panathinaikos is not willing to pay the buyout clause for Azzedine Ounahi to Marseille. The Greek club would need to pay €11.5 million to Marseille if they want to keep the Argentine Ounahi in Athens after the summer. The Moroccan midfielder is considered one of the most skilled players on Panathinaikos’ roster. However, according to French reports, the club has decided against paying such a high fee to retain him. The reasons behind this decision include inconsistencies in the 24-year-old player’s performance and the substantial buyout clause. Regardless, Ounahi does not fit into Marseille’s roster plans, and it is likely he will be loaned out to another team.
