Panathinaikos: The donation of 18,000 seats of OAKA was completed, with Dimitris Giannakopoulos initiative

The 18,000 removed from its closed, in order to “upgrade” the Panathinaikos headquarters, are now on other platforms. Panathinaikos has been struggling since October in an impressive and green seat, which is admired by all the basketball Europe. At the same time, the 18,000 chairs removed from the OAKA stands will be useful in other stadiums, under the initiative of Dimitris Giannakopoulos. At the urging of the powerful man of Panathinaikos BC, the “trifyll” and White Veil, they proceeded to donate the seats to 23 different municipalities of Greece, to improve the facilities for basketball, football and other sports. White Veil’s announcement: “In the context of the reconstruction of Oaka Basketball Arena and at the urging of our President, Mr.Dimitris Giannakopoulos, Panathinaikos AKTOR BC in collaboration with White Veil announce the completion of the donation of 18,000 seats in municipal stadiums of the country. More specifically, the old seats of OAKA’s Close Basketball Field were donated to 23 municipalities throughout Greece, with the aim of improving the experience of athletes and fans on local courts and sports grounds. This initiative strengthens our commitment to support youth and local society through the upgrading of sports facilities and aims to offer athletes better conditions while promoting awareness of recycling and environmental sustainability.
