During the semi-final match against PAOK (2-3) in the men’s volleyball Final Four, Michalis Nikitoglou acted swiftly and heroically when a serious medical issue arose in the stands at the closed venue in Arta. The security chief of Panathinaikos provided first aid and managed to stabilize the fan until doctors arrived. Essentially, he saved the life of the supporter, who is now recovering after the incident. Notably, there was no ambulance available at that time, and it took approximately half an hour for the patient to be transported. The Panathinaikos fan is currently being treated at the hospital in Arta and has regained consciousness.
