In their final game of the regular season in the Greek Basketball League, Panathinaikos completed an impressive 22/22 record with a comfortable 98-70 victory over Laurio at OAKA. Under the guidance of Ergin Ataman, the team showcased balanced play despite missing key players such as Osman, Papapetrou, Lesour, Yurtseven, and Grigonis due to injuries. Laurio will now battle for survival in the playoffs. Coach Ataman strategically rotated his lineup to keep players fresh ahead of two crucial Euroleague matches this week. Young center Alexander Samondouroff seized the opportunity, scoring a career-high 24 points and demonstrating his bright future. The standout performance included perfect free-throw shooting (8/8) and solid rebounding. Panathinaikos dominated statistically, finishing with 26/40 two-point shots, 9/25 three-pointers, and 16/18 from the line, alongside 33 rebounds and 29 assists.
