The Euroleague has fined Ergin Ataman, the coach of Panathinaikos, 10,000 euros for his behavior during the game against ALBA Berlin. The Turkish coach was penalized with a technical foul in the fourth quarter of the match due to intense protests towards the referees. This incident led to an unusual interruption in the game, prompting the Euroleague’s disciplinary board to impose the fine under Article 27.2.a) of the EuroLeague Basketball Code of Conduct. Ataman may appeal the decision before the Appeal Panel.
