Panathinaikos – AEK 1-0: Win and second place for “green” in Super League

He beat her 1–0 at OAKA for the 19th Super League race and passed her to the league score, going up to second place, behind only the pioneer Olympiacos. A goal by Ioannidis from a penalty won by his top Pelistri match, was enough to give Panathinaikos victory, after AEK threatened the “green” hearth very little afterwards. Vitoria’s team thus took an important “third”, which brought him closer to the top of the Super League again. CORVERSE The game The derby in OAKA started without a pace, with many fouls in the first minutes and the referee pulling out three yellow cards before half the match was completed. Panathinaikos had a first good moment with Ioannidis, but was indicated in an offside position and AEK tried to “threat” with a distant set of Marsial. But the goal came from a mistake in Union defence. Jonson made a bad turn backwards and Pelistri managed to “tip” the ball before Strakosha, to win the penalty from the AEK goalkeeper. Fotis Ioannidis took over the execution and aimed from the white doula for Panathinaikos’ 1-0 in the 38th minute of the race. The “greens” then had two more good moments, with Strakosha repelling with one hand a diagonal shot of Vayannidis and shortly after stopping Ioannidis, in a flanked frame. The score did not change the first half, with the image of the match remaining the same in the second part. The two teams had difficulty finding rhythm and the AEK was poor creative, even though it raised its lines higher. Panathinaikos looked more dangerous in counterattacks and scored in one of them, with Ioannidis finding nets again at 71′′. From a double mistake in the defense of the AEK, the international striker found nets with frames close by, but the goal was cancelled via VAR for the hand of the leader of the “trify”.
