Pan-hellenic Exams 2025: Scores by End of June, Bases Before August

The exams are progressing with candidates’ scores expected to be announced at the end of June and bases in the final days of July, as emphasized by Education Minister Sophia Zacharakis. ‘By the end of June, students will receive their scores shortly after the completion of specialized subjects. Afterward, the data entry process must be completed, and during the last five days of July, the bases will be released, allowing students to know which schools they will attend. This will assist families in better planning, especially if the student is attending a school far from home, and reduce anxiety,’ stated Zacharakis while speaking on ERT about the Pan-hellenic exams. Addressing students, the minister highlighted that a new path opens up with numerous options. ‘I studied English Philology, but I could have chosen another school, perhaps even a vocational career with potentially easier access to a more profitable profession. Also, students now know that they can study something and ultimately pursue a completely different career.’ She added, ‘Let’s see how our parents started and then changed careers. A master’s degree inspired them, an evolution in life, or an event. So, we proceed, giving our best selves calmly. We have read what we needed, completed our revisions.’ Furthermore, she encouraged students to utilize the digital classroom until the last day. Regarding the digital classroom, she mentioned, ‘It went very well for its first year. There was a great effort by my predecessor Kyriakos Pierrikakis with excellent public school teachers who upload new material daily. Since April, we’ve conducted revisions so students know they can make a final review before their exams. The digital classroom continues and will become institutionalized, offering new lessons from the 5th grade of primary school through the final year of high school, including live third-year high school lessons. With numbers, imagine that currently, approximately 100,000 candidates have accessed the platform, with over 45,000 active users.’ Additionally, Zacharaki discussed a mindset deeply ingrained not only in public but also private schools that seek reinforcement, emphasizing the need to provide quality choices and continuous improvement.
