Pact of cooperation with the French Institute of Thessaloniki signs the University of Macedonia

Partnerships in the fields of science, culture and education are provided for, among other things, the pact of cooperation…
which will sign tomorrow, Wednesday 22 June 2016, at 12 m. the University of Macedonia and the French Institute of Thessaloniki, in the Hall of Senate of the Institution.
The pact, which aims on the one hand to strengthen the extroversion of the two bodies and the development of joint actions in Greece and abroad, will be signed between the General Consul of the French Republic and the Director of the French Institute of Thessaloniki-Christophe Le Rigoleur, and the Dean of the University of Macedonia, professor Achilles Ζαπράνη.
The two important stakeholders of education and culture of Thessaloniki are proceeding with this agreement at a stage of crucial and effective cooperation, recognizing the need for liaison and joint initiatives for educational activities, research activities, and the strengthening of relationships and of intellectual and productive collaboration.
On the basis of the agreement will be signed, the fields of cooperation include, inter alia, coordinated action networking and promotion of joint actions of the two operators with networks and institutions abroad, sharing their views on national, regional and community institutions, development and cooperation-funded business -european and Greek programmes, as well as exchange of know-how and experience in the areas of organization and administration.
In addition, there is provision for joint actions and collaborations, in particular with the Departments of International and European Studies, Music, Science and Art, of Educational and Social Policy, Applied Informatics, as well as the Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies University of Macedonia, greece.
In particular, the pact refers to the possibility of partnerships with career services Offices and Career for the common conducting workshops, conferences and exhibitions, with the Laboratory of International Relations and European Integration on the organisation of joint informational, and academic events, with the Department of Educational and Social Policy, in education programs, health education – vocational orientation, as well as with the Department of Music Science and Art, for the organisation of joint artistic events and concerts.
