Over 8,000 Job Opportunities at DYPA’s 50th Career Day

More than 300 companies and over 8,000 job opportunities marked the 50th anniversary of DYPA’s ‘Career Day’ held in Peristeri on Saturday, January 24, 2026. The two-day event by the Public Employment Service (DYPA), which began on Friday, January 23, welcomed thousands of visitors seeking employment prospects. On the first day alone, over 4,000 citizens attended, and Labor and Social Security Minister Niki Kerameus attended in support of the initiative, through which 12,000 fellow citizens have already found jobs via previous Career Days. This is the largest two-day employment event in the capital, hosted at the Peristeri Exhibition Center (106 Dodecanese Ave), transforming the venue into an open hub for career opportunities, immediate interviews, and direct contact between job seekers and employers. Over 300 companies from diverse economic sectors are participating, offering more than 8,000 positions across all skill levels and specialties. Visitors can speak directly with company representatives, submit their CVs, and participate in on-site preliminary job interviews—no prior appointment needed.
