New Democracy maintains a clear lead in voter intention according to the latest survey by Opinion Poll, while the Freedom Voyage holds firmly onto second place. Citizens do not seem to view cooperation between opposition parties as realistic and negatively perceive Alexis Tsipras’s potential return to active politics. Specifically, ND shows a significant increase of 1.9% compared to the previous poll, reaching 30%. It leads by 13.5% over the second-placed Freedom Voyage, which has risen by 0.6% to reach 16.5%. PASOK drops by 1.3% and stands at 13%, while SYRIZA continues to experience low flight with 6.1%. The survey indicates an eight-party parliament would emerge based on current voter intentions. In terms of prime ministerial suitability, Kyriakos Mitsotakis leads with 30.4%, followed by Zoe Konstantopoulou at 11.3%. The majority prefers no one for the role, with 31.7%. Regarding the most credible opposition party, ‘none’ leads with 48.1%, followed by the Freedom Voyage at 20.7%. Citizens are negative about potential cooperation between PASOK, SYRIZA, and New Left, with 59.4% against it, and 66.1% considering it unrealistic. Additionally, 68.4% oppose Alexis Tsipras’s return to active politics, though this sentiment varies among different party voters. Positive opinions were recorded for government measures such as wage increases, pensioner support, and national security enhancements. Lastly, accuracy remains the biggest concern for citizens at 49.3%, followed by the economy and healthcare.
