As specifies the ministry, “the late traffic of 2017 were unchanged compared with the year 2016 per-vehicle category. However, for a relatively small number of vehicles there has been a classification in another category of fees due to the obligation of the country to comply with recommendations of the European Commission (article 46. 4410/2016). This is for vehicles that were imported into the country as used and no longer the end of movement, the presumption of subsistence, and the tax on luxury living are calculated on the basis of the first year of circulation in a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area. The reclassification relates to approximately 133,000 vehicles out of a total of more than 5.500.000. From what 41.978 there has been a reduction of vehicle taxes, for the 60.234 there was no change and for the 31.854 there was an increase”.

Taxpayers, owners of vehicles can enter the online application with their personal codes in order to be informed about the fees to which it is entitled and the basis of the identity of the debt to pay as of December 31, 2016.
It is noted that any late payment of fees incur a fine equivalent to their value.
